World Champion Anonymously Played Chess with People in the Park

Both opponents of the grandmaster did not last longer than 10 moves.

Magnus Carlsen from Norway, the current World Chess Champion, played against two chess hustlers in Washington Square Park, Gizmodo writes.

“I didn’t know who it was. I was just playing. I tried to win, but when I saw him make a move, already I knew it was like… In like 10 moves, he checkmated me,” one of the grandmaster’s opponents said. Carlsen’s other opponent also lost the game in 10 moves.
