“63 Objects Taken From My Son’s Mouth” Photo Book

Artist Lenka Clayton made photos of acorn, screw, chewing gum, push-pin, carbon-paper and dozens of other objects, which she rescued from the mouth of her child.

Last year British artist Lenka Clayton exhibited her project “63 Objects Taken From My Son’s Mouth” at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. It is a collection of objects she rescued from her child’s mouth when he was between eight and 15 months old.

It’s Nice That. And now in cooperation with designers Brett Yasko and photographer Tom Little she published a book of the same name. Chalk, Christmas decorations, cigarette butt, coins, leaves, wooden doll, sharp pieces of the metal, metro ticket, a nut, plastic, polystyrene, seeds, rocks, sponge, stick, plastic bag and wire are among the objects in Layton’s collection.

The book was published with a limited edition of 100 copies, each of them is signed by the author. Price is $30.
