Photographer Took a Series of Infrared Photos of the Central Park

Paolo Pettigiani offers a new look on the American megalopolis.

New York-based Italian photographer and designer Paolo Pettigiani published a series of infrared photographs that he took in Central Park, PetaPixel writes.

The author said that he took the photographs with a digital camera and then altered them to look like he used Kodak Aerochrome Infrared film.

“The purpose is highlight the majesty and the contrast of nature included in the famous Big Apple’s skyscrapers, — Pettigiani said.

Bird In Flight published photographs earlier from the project of British photographer Edward Thompson who used some of the last ever Kodak Aerochrome Infrared film to take them.
