Monthly Subscription for ‘Instagram for the Rich’ Costs $1,000

Fox Valley Apps presented a new mobile app called Rich Kids, where the monthly subscription costs $1,000, PetaPixel writes. The creators of the app say they wanted it to be an exclusive photo sharing application, a status symbol in itself.

“We created something different. A new social network where our members can really stand out and be visible in an elegant and meaningful way,” the developers stated. A third of the membership fees will be used for ‘education of poor kids’.

Application is free to use for everybody, but regular users can only view the photographs, whereas club members who paid the subscription fee can publish them.

Several ‘rich kids’, who are prone to showing off their wealthy lifestyle on Instagram, have already registered in the application.
