Apple Releases an Ad about an Elderly Man Who Gathers User Photographs in Series

The video has already been viewed over four million times in just two days.

Apple published a 1.5-minute video to advertise the Memories feature: in the video, an elderly man is shown carefully looking through archives of thousands of photographs and videos and then puts them together into a series.

Memories was first introduced for iOS 10, and can form strings of photographs with the help of AI, related to certain people, places, or events. So far, the results have received a lot of criticism — many users say that the resulting videos look like a collection of random shots.
