Bird in Flight Prize ‘19

The jury of the Bird in Flight Prize ‘19 international photography contest is ready to present the results.

This year, more than 400 applications from 57 countries have been reviewed with 10 photo series shortlisted. There are authors from Ukraine, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, the US, and New Zealand among the finalists.

Projects were judged by a photographer, a member of Magnum Photos Antoine d’Agata, a member of the Unseen advisory committee Emilia van Lynden, YET Magazine editor-in-chief Salvatore Vitale, artist Ola Lanko, photographers Dmitry Kostyukov and Vlad Sokhin.

The winner is Bangladeshi photographer Shadman Shahid with “No Quarter” project.

The shortlisted projects are showcased at the exhibition at the Set art space in Kyiv from 11 October to 10 November.
