The “Catch” project is about the fishing industry in Ghana, where more than half a million people earn a living exclusively by fishing. Fish is the main source of protein for Ghanaians, and the country’s per capita fish consumption is by far the highest in the world — nearly double the world average. The fishing industry is a safety net for the low-income population; in the case of job loss or financial difficulties, at least they won’t starve.

After decades of persecution and pressure from the first German occupation and then the communist regime, the Orthodox Church is on its way. Andrey has said, “With this project, I wanted to interpret the relationship between the Serbs and what their Church has become. As a Romanian, I hoped that, by looking at our Serbian neighbors, I would come to a better understanding of my own largely Orthodox nation.”
