Voting for the best project in the special nomination of the Bird in Flight Prize ’19 has started

While the jury is choosing the winner of the main contest, Bird in Flight announces open voting for the best work in the special nomination.

This year the contest of innovative photography Bird in Flight Prize received over 400 projects from 57 countries. The submissions are currently reviewed by a jury which will choose ten finalists and a winner who will be announced on October 11 at the award ceremony in Kyiv, in the Set art space.

Meanwhile, Bird in Flight Prize launched online voting in the special nomination for the Panasonic Readers’ Choice Award. Thirty projects chosen by Bird in Flight are competing for this prize. The winner is determined by the readers by online voting.

The voting will last until September 23, 2019. The winner will receive a special prize – a Panasonic Lumix GX9 camera, and their project will be published on Bird in Flight.

Bird in Flight Prize is a contest organized by Bird in Flight magazine taking place for the second time. This year, the jury consists of photographer and member of Magnum Photos Antoine d’Agata, YET Magazine editor-in-chief Salvatore Vitale, member of the Unseen advisory committee Emilia van Lynden, artist Ola Lanko, photographers Dmitry Kostyukov and Vlad Sokhin.
