Handsome felon may get a modeling contract
According to Mirror, bookers from Blaze Modelz expressed readiness to offer Jeremy Meeks contracts with fashion houses Versace and Armani which would presume monthly earnings from $15,000 to $30,000. Blaze said that even a man’s face tattoos are a plus and add edginess to his image. They are not the only modeling agency who’s taken interest in working with Jeremy.
Jeremy Meeks, a 30 years old resident of California, gained popularity after police put his mugshot on Facebook following his arrest for firearms offences by police targeting gang behavior in his city. The picture went viral and has been liked 95 thousand times.
He is currently being held on bail before his court appearance on Friday. His mother Katherine Angier has set up a fund with a $25k target to help pay her son’s attorney’s fees. As of the 24th of July, over $3,500 has been raised.
This is not the first time a picture on Facebook changed someone’s life. Beginning of June a photographer from New York Benjamin Lowy started a fundraiser for a homeless colleague by posting the man’s photo on his Facebook page. $14,200 out of the planned $15,000 has been raised so far and there are still 79 days remaining to hit the target.
