Apple Patents Phone Camera with Lower Noise

Apple registered a patent on a three sensor mobile camera, writes techcrunch.com. First, a special light-splitting cube located inside the camera will divide light into red, green and blue colors, then each color will be captured by a one of the three sensors. This method of color analyses will produce images with a better color rendition and lower noise while shooting with insufficient light.
