NASA Captures Galaxy Smile

It appears as though the galaxy cluster featured on the video is smiling.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration posted on their Facebook page an image taken with the Hubble Space Telescope. The image of Galaxy Cluster SDSS J1038+4849 appears as though it is a smiling face.

Galaxy clusters are the most massive structures in the universe. They create such a powerful gravitational pull that they warp the space and time around them and act as cosmic lenses which can distort and bend the light behind them. In this case the Einstein Ring phenomena can be observed — it is a consequence of the exact and symmetrical alignment of the source, lens and observer. It happened that it resulted in the smile – like image.
