Scientists Creates Digital Doppelgangers of Famous Faces

Specialists from University of Washington developed a technology that creates 3D-model and showcased it on Kevin Spacey’s doppelganger.

Scientists from University of Washington published an article about the results of reconstructing a controllable model of a person. The software operates with unstructured photo collections that capture the physical appearance and behavior of a person, and creates a controllable model of that person.

The technology uses a digital face “puppet” of famous people in computer games or in movies, writes Engadget.com. In the video created by the scientists there are doppelgangers of Kevin Spacey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Daniel Craig and Tom Hanks.
