5-year Plan in China Advertised in a Psychedelic Video

The authors of the video stress the importance of meeting the targets of the thirteenth five-year plan.

On Monday, October 26, official information agency of the People’s Republic of China Xinhua posted a video about the importance of meeting the targets of the 5-year plan, Wall Street Journal writes.

The three-minute video features local politicians, the Great Wall of China and ALbert Einstein and is played to the tune of the optimistic song in English, which introduces shisanwu (the thirteenth five-year plan).

The song goes like this: “Wanna know what China’s gonna do? Best pay attention to the shisanwu!”.
