The Most Viewed Ads of the Month According to Adweek
Adweek together with YouTube published a selection of 10 advertisement videos that were the most popular on the Internet last month.
The most viewed videos include, for example, a Heinz commercial where dachshund dogs were dressed in hotdog costumes, or a Snickers ad where Willem Dafoe performs as hungry Marilyn Monroe.
Many of the videos that made the top ten were made to be shown during the Super Bowl — the annual championship game of the National Football League in the US — one of the most watched TV events in America, which makes big companies spend millions of dollars on advertisements to be shown when the game is broadcast.
