Ad for Make Up Forever Features Transgendered Models

Cosmetic brand launched an advertising campaign with the models who changed gender.

After Vanity Fair featured an Caitlyn Jenner, an Olympic champion who recently changed gender, on the July’s cover, transgender people have started appearing in other media venues.

The cosmetic brand Make Up For Ever launched the advertising campaign #BeMAKEUPFOREVER featuring Andreja Pejić and Jamie Chung as models. Both were born men, but always wanted to be women. The tagline of the campaign is “Be bold. Be Unexpected. Be You.”

“When I was little, I would dream about what it would be like to grow up and be a woman. I didn’t care if I was scrubbing toilets — if I was doing it as a woman, I’d be happy. I’m thankful to Make Up For Ever for taking this bold step,”said Pejić.
