Photographer Shows the Underneath of the Dogs
Lithuanian photographer Andrius Burba created a series called Under-Dogs, where he photographed dogs of several different breeds from underneath. This is not the first time when Burba uses this technique: in January, he had an Under-Cats series, which has since been released as a book.
In a comment to DIY Photography Burba said that he had to make a special glass table for this shoot, which would be strong enough for dogs of larger breeds. He also explained, which animals were easier to work with: “Dogs were more obedient; they liked treats, so we played with them. This is how we got more interesting poses, than cats. Cats were very cute but dogs are more playful. Dogs are more obedient which helps us to create more interesting shots.”
