Link of the Day: Interactive Map of Historical Events

The map is based on Wikipedia and covers the time from the Big Bang to the present day.

Israeli designer Matan Stauber created an interactive map called Histography that inсludes the chronology of the historical events for the past 14 billion years. It is reported that this is the graduate work of the author that he completed while studying at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.

Histography is based on the information from Wikipedia and includes the events starting from the Big Bang and ending with the present day. It is renewed daily.

Every dot on the map corresponds a historical event, and when you press on it, you go to the corresponding Wikipedia page. The users can change the scale of the map and set the theme filters of the displayed events.
