Marc Mol Wins Nature and Wildlife Photo Contest

A photo featuring a herd of elephants took the first prize in the contest organized by the Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers.

The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers announced the winners of the Discovering Wildlife Photography Competition. According to Photographyblog.com, the best photo was given to the work of Marc Mol from Switzerland. The photo was made in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park.

Second place was given to a photo by Mario Gustavo Fiorucci, and third place to an image by Karin Horstman.

Mol won a year membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers, Mario Gustavo Fiorucci and Karin Horstman were awarded with 6 months memberships.

In total, 325 images entered in to the competition.
