Link of the Day: Collection of Vintage Movie and Advertising Posters
Authors behind FreeVintagePosters collect examples of poster design from the previous century.
The authors of the project called FreeVintagePosters are collecting vintage movie, advertising, circus, and sports posters, as well as other examples of design from the previous century. The entire collection currently has several hundred works, broken down into several categories: Advertising, Classic Movies, Food / Drink, Animal / Nature, Travel, and so on. Many of the published posters can be downloaded in high resolution.
The published works include promotional posters for the car race in Monaco in 1930 and the 1948 London Olympics, vintage tourist posters, advertising a holiday in Australia, and dozens of WWII posters.
