Wihan Sejahtera ferry with hundreds of passengers and many cars on board started sinking after it sailed just 200 meters from Surabaya island in Lamong Bay, Indonesia. Local authorities sent several boats to it and organized a search and rescue operation, which resulted in saving more than 100 people from the water. The search continues, as the exact number of passengers who were on board is unknown.
