Salon Nautique de Paris exhibition for sailing, motor boating and water sport takes place every December. It includes the race on paddle boats on the River Seine — Paris Crossing. This year it was planned that the race would have 500 participants: 400 of them could register several months prior, and the fifth hundred consisted of invited sports professionals from different countries, brand representatives, media people and other VIPs. The registration, which opened on September 15th, closed after 26 minutes — 400 people booked their spots in less than half an hour.
