Award: participation in La Biennale di Venezia.
A contest for visual arts. To participate, one has to send a portfolio and a short bio to lucacurci@lucacurci.com.

Award: $1,000.
A grant program for the photographers working on the following topics: “Architecture”, “Conceptual photography”, “Nature”, “Documentary photography” and “Culture”. A submitted project can consist of up to ten images.

Award: €1,000 and €500 for the winner and the runner-up, €100 for each of the eight category winners.
An open photography contest with no limitations regarding the genre or techniques. Among the jury members – The Guardian’s Picture Editor Caroline Hunter and Diane Smyth of British Journal of Photography.

Entry fee: $35 per image for the professionals and $30 per image for the amateurs.
Award: prizes of $500-$1,500 for three winners, participation in the exhibition and publication of the winning photographs in mass media.
Color photography contest for amateur and professional photographers. There are no limitations regarding the theme or the techniques used as long as the photo is in color.

A contest dedicated to environmental protection. Submissions are being accepted in the following categories: “Built Environment”, “Changing Climate” and “People, Nature, and Economy.” To participate one has to submit up to ten images with captions and a short biography.

Award: four prizes of $500 to $1,500.
An international contest for travel photography. Genres and number of submitted images are not limited, the author whose photo gets the highest number of visitors’ votes will receive a special prize of $500.
Deadline: September 15, 2017.
Entry fee: $30-$60.
Award: $10,000 for the winner of “The First PhotoBook Prize.”
A photo books contest organized by Paris Photo gallery and Aperture Foundation. Books of any format published between September 1, 2016 and September 13, 2017 published in an edition of no less than one hundred copies are eligible for submissions.
Deadline: September 29, 2017.
No entry fee.
Award: seven certificates for $500–$2,000 for photography equipment.
The contest organized by the World Bank is dedicated to the problems of disadvantaged populations from all over the world. Particular interest will be paid to projects covering topics of women’s economic empowerment, small businesses, and innovations in digital finance. An individual applicant can submit a maximum of 20 images.
