The New York Public Library has digitized and made available nearly 200,000 images from its archives. The collection includes photographs, illustrations, scanned versions of documents, antique maps, and postcards.
The entire release is presented in an interactive visualization: the files are displayed as icons, and hovering over them allows you to open the desired image in full size. There is also a search function based on categories, collection authors, and creation time.
