American Photographer Captured Blue Fire of Ijen Volcano
American photographer Reuben Wu published a series of photos of Ijen volcano shot during his trip in Indonesia, Colossal reports.
Ijen is an active volcano in East Java, known for its Blue Fire Crater. The unusual phenomenon is the result of ignited sulphuric gas in one of the craters that burns up to 600 degrees Celsius.
Bird in Flight has recently published a story about Ecuador-born photographer Cris Olivares who studies the lives of people who leave near volcanos.
