Artists Adds Extra Weight to Celebrities

As a joke Spanish artist David Lopera used Photoshop to add several kilograms to famous women and published his work. Then, he began receiving letters from men all over the world with requests for him to Photoshop other celebrities as well. In 2014 he got more than 200 requests to “put weight on” Emma Watson, Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian and other stars. With this project the artist hopes to make natural looking female bodies more popular and to remind people that it is beautiful to be yourself.

“These women look much better when they’re overweight. I prefer Elsa [of Frozen fame] when she’s a fat princess – that’s a real woman right there,” said Lopera in his interview to Daily Mail.
