Frank Gross Made His Wife’s Photographs for the Past 40 Years Into a Series

Canadian photographer made his wife, who has recently been through a serious surgery, a touching present.

Canadian photographer Frank Gross published on his website a project titled Helen, which includes the photographs of his wife taken in the past 40 years of their life together, PetaPixel writes.

“I have been married to Helene for 42 years. She is in the midst of dealing with a serious health issue that statistics show affects 1 in 9 woman over the age of 50, — Gross shared. — When we passed the first hurdle a few weeks ago, that being successful surgery, I began to collate photographs I had made of her. I had no particular goal in mind but as many have pointed out this became a tribute portfolio to her. A celebration if you will.”

The author says he’s hoping to turn this work into an exhibition and/or publication in the future.
