Instagram of the Day: Italy and the Cosmos in One Frame

Italian photographer Riccardo Schirinzi publishes surreal collages presenting his vision of Italy. Walking the streets in Rome, he takes photos with iPhone and later with the help of mobiles apps he combines them with images of sky, Moon and other planets.

“My influences are the metaphysical stream of De Chirico, the geometry love of the Bauhaus era and the super pop culture of Warhol and Lichtenstein—all mixed up and topped with a bit of retro-futuristic sci-fi style,” says Schirinzi.

Last one before taking off back home to Italy.
