Photo of the Day: Breastfeeding Women

On May 3rd, in Chicago, a presentation of the photo book Breastfeeding Goddess by Ivette Ivens will be held. The book is an exploration of breastfeeding mothers, with portraits of women and their babies in nature.

“I want people to look at it as if it was a cat nursing her baby kittens. Or any other mammal, if you’re not a cat person. Forget the covering up, nursing in a public bathroom, age restrictions. It’s between a mother and her child,” writes Ivens.
