Designers Invented an Easy Way to Update a Smartphone to iPhone7

The authors of a mock-up website are making users think why they need iPhone7.

On the day when iPhone7 was released, which does not have a regular 3.5mm jack for headphones, Nicer design studio launched a mock-up website Apple Plug, where it offered not to opt for a new generation iPhone, but to upgrade an old smartphone cheaply with Apple Plug, Mashable writes.

Apple Plug covers the headphone jack: “You lose the headphone jack. That’s it — there are no other benefits, but your old iPhone will be a big step closer to the iPhone 7,” Mashable jokes.

The manufacturer claims the device is ‘light, waterproof and affordable.’ The price of the plug is not mentioned.

In new iPhone7 presented at the I/O press conference on September 7, the headphones are connected through Bluetooth or charging socket. The old earpieces will have to be used together with an adapter, supplied in the box with the phone.

iPhone7 has a 12-megapixel main camera with a f 1/1.8 diaphragm and optical image stabilization and 7-megapixel front-facing camera. iPhone 7 Plus will have two 12-MPx cameras (wide angle and long focus). The body of both phones is dust- and moisture-proof.
