Successful Launch of Streaming Video App “Periscope”
iOS-app for on-line streaming was getting 100,000 users per day.
Twitter CEO, Dick Costolo, stated that in the first ten days of launching Periscope, a new online video streaming app, more than one million users registered.
The iOS app, acquired by Twitter this spring, is designed to create streams – mobile online live-streaming videos. Content can be recorded in a real time, and uploaded to video streaming in Periscope.
