The Cut followed the perception of the female beauty in India for the last 100 years
The Cut posted the seventh episode of 100 Years of Beauty series. It shows changes in understanding of female beauty in India. Trisha Miglani, an Indian dancer and actress, stars in the two-minute video. First, she is a modest girl with a covered head and almost no cosmetics, by the end she wears bright makeup and has a hairstyle in a Western fashion.
In the previous episodes, the filmmakers followed the fashion trends of European, African, Iranian, Philipino, Mexican, and Korean girls and women.
