Australian Artist Drew a Graffiti Inside the Chornobyl NPP

Guido van Helten recreated the photograph taken by photojournalist Igor Kostin when the first steps to eliminate of the aftermath of the accident were being taken.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Chornobyl NPP accident, Australian street artist Guido van Helten drew a graffiti on the wall of the building inside the cooling tower of the number five reactor of the Chornobyl NPP, Dream Kyiv writes.

For reference, the author used the photograph taken in 1986 by photojournalist Igor Kostin, who was one of the first people at the accident site.

The creation of the graffiti is captured in a 7-minute video, Under The Line, published by a Kyiv-based director Geo Leros.
