Motorola Advertised Its New Smartphone by Tricking iPhone Lovers
A video of the experiment where several lovers of Apple products were offered to evaluate Motorola’s new smartphone presented as a prototype of the next generation iPhone was posted online, Mashable writes.
People in the video are sure that they are part of Apple’s official focus group and when they see Moto Z, Motorola’s new device, they compliment its appearance and functionality, which among other things allows to connect additional modules to the smartphone’s body: battery, speakers, or mini-projectors.
“That’s pretty impressive,” says one of the women when she gets acquainted with the performance of the gadget.
The authors of the campaign called Skip The Sevens are hoping to convince Apple loyalists that their products are superior to Apple.
“When the first generation iPhone came out, it changed everything. But that was nine years ago,” Motorola says.
