Participants of a Photo Flashmob Lit a 111-Meter Building with Flashes and Flashlights
2,800 people helped create the effect of daylight in the night city.
About 3,000 participants of a photo flashmob in Rochester, New York, lit a 19-storeyed Kodak Tower with flashes and flashlights, so that photographers could take a night shot of the building, PetaPixel writes.
It happened on the night of September 18: the volunteers pointed their sources of light on the Tower, which created the effect of daylight and made it stand out among other buildings.
Photographers who took pictures of the building used the most diverse photographic techniques — both modern and ancient: such as collodion process, which was popular in late 19th century.
