Video: Every Academy Award Winner for the Best Visual Effects Since 1927
Burger Fiction showed how the technology in cinema developed over 90 years.
The authors of Burger Fiction, a blog about films, published a 12-minute video where they gathered scenes from all films that ever received the Academy Awards for the best visual effects, Gizmodo writes.
The video covers the period between 1927 and 2016 — from the Wings by William Wellman and Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo by Mervyn LeRoy to Gravity by Alfonso Cuarón, Interstellar by Christopher Nolan, and Ex Machina by Alex Garland.
Burger Fiction posted another Oscars-related selection earlier this month: it gathers all movies that were ever awarded for the best cinematography.
