Apple Releases an Ad about the World Chaos Caused by Mobile Apps Switching Off
The company shows the role that mobile apps play in the life of modern humans and what their sudden disappearance may lead to.
For Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, which takes place in San Jose (California), Apple presented an advertising video titled Appocalypse, which shows the aftermath of mobile apps getting suddenly deleted from the devices of users all over the world.
The three-minute video shows how a new employee coming into Apple: getting comfortable at his desk and trying to find a spare socket, he accidentally switches off the servers of the company, which causes all the iOS-based programs to stop working. Crisis in all spheres of life ensues, and wreaks havoc all over the world.
The video ends with the slogan: “Keep making apps. The world is depending on you.”
