Adobe Holds a Contest for the Best Digital Interpretation of The Scream by Edvard Munch

The winner will receive €6,000 and an opportunity to present their work in the Munch museum in Norway.

Adobe held a contest for the best interpretation of The Scream by Edvard Munch. The winner will be announced on July 28 and will receive a prize of €6,000 and an opportunity to exhibit their work in the Munch museum in Norway.

The contest is dedicated to the release of a new set of digital brushes that Adobe experts recreated from those that belonged to the artist. First, century-old instruments were photographed in extra-high resolution, and later the photographs were used to create their digital models. One of the conditions of the contest is that the works should be created with the help of this set of brushes.

The works submitted by the authors from all over the world are available on Instagram at the hashtag #munchcontest.
