“Birdman” Wins Oscar
Alejandro Iñárritu's film won four Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
The 87th Academy Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles. The Best Picture of 2014 was awarded to “Birdman” by Alejandro G. Iñárritu. The film won in 4 categories: Best Picture, Directing, Cinematography, and Original Screenplay.
Julianne Moore won Best Actress for “Still Alice” and Eddie Redmayne won Best Actor for “The Theory of Everything.”
“The Grand Budapest Hotel” received four Oscars: Music, Makeup and Hairstyling, Costume Design, and Production Design.
“Ida” by Polish film director, Pawel Pawlikowski, received the Foreign Language Film Award. “Big Hero 6” won the Animated Feature Film Award. Best Documentary Feature Award was given to “Citizenfour.”
