The Cut Compares Women Of North And South Korea
The magazine made a short video featuring how political regimes influence the standards of beauty.
An American magazine The Cut posted the forth episode of the video series “100 Years of Beauty.” This time the magazine demonstrates the changes in the beauty standards of Korean women in 20th century by comparing women in North and South Korea.
In the first three videos The Cut explores the evolution of women’s beauty in the Americas and in Iran and with African American women.
