Grammy Award Ceremony Advertised with Live Portraits of Nominees

The authors mashed up the songs of all nominees for Album of the Year in one video.

The organizers of GRAMMY, the award by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, posted a short video on YouTube, where they gathered all nominees for Album of the Year, Adweek writes. In the video, a young man is walking around the city by the portraits of nominees, who come alive and perform their main hits.

“We wanted to do something to get people excited for the Grammys, but didn’t have the time or money to get the artists all together for a shoot. That difficulty led us to the idea of a mashup of all five nominees”, — Jason Karley, one of the creators of the video, said.

The 58th Grammy Award Ceremony is planned for February 16, 2016. There are five nominees for Album of the Year: Kendrick Lamar, Chris Stapleton, Taylor Swift, as well as the bands Alabama Shakes and The Weeknd.
