Street Art Made From Garbage Appears In Lisbon
Street artist Bordalo II sculptured a heron on the side of a building.
Recently, Portuguese street artist Artur Bordalo aka Bordalo II, 27, posted on his Facebook page his new street art sculpture. As with all of his previous works, an animal is made from colored garbage, found in the streets: plastic sheeting, old tires, shingles, tangles of electrical cables, pieces of cars, plastic bottles and pipes.
The artist explains that his art is not only a way to recycle, but also a critique of the world we live in, where we often have nice things which are based on junk, without realizing it.
