Rare Quadruple Rainbow in New York

New Yorker residents witnessed a rare nature phenomenon – a quadruple rainbow. Amanda Curtis was able to capture and post her image of the rainbow to Twitter. The first day it was posted the photo was re-tweeted by several thousand people. CNN, NBC News and Huffington Post covered the story. In 2011, LiveScience Magazine reported that in 250 years there has only been a very small number of triple and quadruple rainbows registered.
