New York Times Magazine’s Photos of 70 Year Old Kids

In a photo shoot, "Old Kids," Zachary Scott uses artificial limbs, wigs, make up and heavy photoshop.

New York Times Magazine commissioned Zachary Scott, a Los-Angeles-based fashion photographer, to shoot, “Old Kids,” a series featuring the transformation of the toddlers into pensioners. The photos were made to illustrate an article titled “What if Age Is Nothing but a Mind-Set?” about recent socio-psychological experiments proving that old people who think and behave like young people, feel and look better than people of their same age who think and act older. The images were made combining photos and illustrations, proving that old-fashioned hairstyles, dress and accessories can make even toddlers look old.
