500 Etchings by Rembrandt Now Available Online
The now digitized works were created by the Dutch artist in the first half of the 17th century.
Morgan Library & Museum in New York City published about 500 etchings by the Dutch artist Rembrandt on their website, Open Culture writes.
The archive is categorized into four groups: religious scenes, landscapes, portraits and self-portraits. Each of the published etchings is accompanied with a name and a date.
Among the published etchings, there is Rembrandt’s self portrait from 1634 and the illustration to the Biblical Parable of the Good Samaritan from 1633.
