Photos of Frozen Niagara Falls Are Published
After the night temperature along the US-Canada border dropped to -16F, Nigara Falls became partially frozen, writes i100.co.uk. Photos of the phenomenon feature several streams of water turned into massive rubble ice.
“The attention the falls is receiving is bringing a crowd to view them in their majestic, winter splendor,” said Michelle Blackley, Michelle Blackley, communications & community relations manager of Niagara Tourism and Convention Corporation, in an interview with USA Today.
Niagara Fall has partially frozen twice – two times in the same week last year, and was completely frozen twice in 1848 and in 1912.
