Swedish Student Draws Flag for Earth

24-year-old Swedish student Oskar Pernefeldt presented a design of a new flag: The International Flag of Planet Earth. It depicts a flower made from interlocking rings. Plants stands for life on the Earth, and circles symbolize connectedness. The designer said that he thinks it’s wrong the whole planet is presented by only one country, as it happened with an American flag on the Moon. Pernefeldt hopes that his symbol will represent the people of the Earth as one community and will be used for the first settlement on the Mars.
