“The Best New iOS Game” Featuring Bonsai Trees Comes to App Store
Prune, a game revealed last week in the App Store, was named “the best new iOS game,” wrote Webster, The Verge’s games editor. Previously, “Prune” was recognized as the Best Upcoming Game at the International Mobile Gaming Awards 2015.
The game, designed in a style of a Japanese print, was created by Joel McDonald. Earlier he created graphics for Quake 4, Call of Duty and Placebo Effect. The game illustrates bonsai art and its tree growing technology. A player can grow, shape a tree and help it to bloom. With each level the cultivation becomes more complicated, writes fastcodesign.com.
“Prune” is available at App Store for $4.
