Video of the Day: Earth Captured from the International Space Station in 4K
NASA uploaded to YouTube a new video in Ultra High Definition.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) published their first video in 4K resolution or UHD (ultra high definition) featuring the Earth from the altitude of 350 kilometers.
The video was recorded from the International Space Station with an Urthecast Iris camera. The price of the camera is $35 million, and is usually used for environmental monitoring, damage assessment or for searching for casualties of natural disasters.
NASA also showed how Barcelona, London, and Boston look in a video made with Urthecast Iris.
