UN Women Explains Gender Inequality in a Series of Illustrations
The authors wanted to draw attention to how underrepresented women are in different professions.
UN Women Egypt published a series of illustrations called Finding Her, which show how underrepresented women are in various professions, It’s Nice That writes.
Each of the three works is dedicated to a different sphere — technology, politics, or science. The illustrations created by a Japanese duo IC4Design show lots of people, most of whom are men. The viewers are offered to try to find women in each of the pictures.
“Finding women in [technology/politics/science] shouldn’t be this hard. Let’s work together for equal representation in the workplace,” says the slogan of the campaign. All illustrations will be published in popular Egyptian media outlets.
