Animation about Time Travel That Has 40 Festival Awards Posted Online

This is a short story about why it is not always a good idea to accidentally find a time machine.

Job, Joris & Marieke, an animation studio from the Netherlands, posted their short animation titled A Single Life for free access online. A Single Life premiered in 2014, and since then has traveled to over 200 film festivals all over the world and received 40 different awards. Now, the authors decided to share their work with everybody and uploaded the animation to their Vimeo channel.

The short film tells the story of a young woman who finds an LP under her door, starts playing it, and soon finds out that it is a time machine which works when you move the sound pick-up. She experiments with her discovery, and first goes to her childhood, and then to her old age. However, one more trip that she takes ends unlike the way she planned.
